Safi Derince International Port is located in Izmit Bay at the Northeast of Marmara Sea covering Istanbul Asian side as well as West Black Sea and Anatolia hinterlands.
Safiport Derince is the only port in the Izmit Bay providing all port services at the same time. Due to the extensive facilities, the port services can accommodate a variety of cargoes, including Ro-Ro, container, liquid and dry bulk cargo, general and project cargo, railway cargo. Safiport’s 8 track rail terminal is the biggest in the area on main railway network which offers the only connection to Europe via Rail Ferry.
