Together with the port business community, the Port of Rotterdam Authority has long been committed to creating an attractive breakbulk port. More than 400 companies, employing some 20,000 people, continuously deliver added value to Rotterdam’s breakbulk sector. We are proud of innovations like the unique ship to-shore magnet cranes, the all-weather terminal and Europe’s  largest fleet of floating cranes that can lift up to 1,800 tonnes. All of these contribute to our ambition to be a full service port with a complete cluster of activities. ‘Rotterdam loves breakbulk’.
