Multiport Ship Agencies Network, started in 1978, is the world’s largest ship agency network. It covers more than 110 countries and 2,200 main ports worldwide. Multiport is unique in having independent external scrutinizers stringently checking its members (on joining and each year thereafter) on financial strength, creditworthiness, professional ability, business ethics and professional reputation. Each member company is an independent “local expert.” Selection is strict, and those members who are chosen have to meet our quality standards or leave. Multiport believes its principals must have the peace of mind that their ships will be professionally handled in port and that their financial and operational interests are fully protected.
